Being the “best you can be” is really only possible when you are deeply connected to another. Splendid isolation is for planets, not people.”- Sue Johnson
I use an attachment theory lens to join with clients to identify their emotions and attachment styles. This will allow clients to gain better insight of their view of self and others, and how it impacts relationships. When our view of self is distorted by trauma and life circumstances it can be difficult to achieve healthy relationships with ourselves and others.
I work with couples, individuals, and families. I am especially passionate about helping couples break negative cycles and build more solid partnerships through emotionally focused therapy. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, previous trauma, relationship issues, or life in itself, I believe therapy can be healing and transformative. I create a non-judgmental space for clients to feel seen and heard as they navigate through self-discovery and growth in relationships.
I have worked in the non-profit sector for over 10 years working with families experiencing homelessness, children in the foster care system, and victims of domestic violence.
I would be honored to join with you on your journey towards growth and healing.
